Default POLL: Engine removal with or without tranny

I was wondering what everyone thinks is easier on a 240, removing the engine with or without the tranny?

I hate pouring in the gear oil so I was thinking of trying to pull the engine without pulling the tranny

Thanks

with tranny...

but i don't know what the big deal is about filling the tranny. get a hand pump and spray it in. stand on a chair with a funnel and a plastic tube. fill it through the shifter. etc.

Yeah well either way, if you take the Dshaft out and start pulling the motor out with the tranny your going to get gear oil coming out the tail shaft because there's nothing to hold the seal in tight.

Get over it.
Just pour it in the shifter.
Not a big deal.

P.s. drain it first.
I found out that way. lol :-)
